Welcome to Peel Media Marketing Solutions

David Peel Founder of Peel Media
Peel Media was formed by David Peel in 2002 to provide marketing, public relations and media training solutions to the business world.  David had worked at the sharp end of the media industry for 35 years: first as a newspaper reporter, and freelance writer, then as BBC broadcaster, programme maker and latterly as an award winning senior executive running local radio stations.

At the same time he was visiting lecturer in Radio Journalism at Darlington College, and at Hawkhills, the Government's Emergency Planning College lectured on Media Management in a Crisis. In 2000 David completed an MBA at Bradford University.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a trained trainer.  Over the last four years Peel Media has undertaken a wide variety of tasks including the design and production of a CD-Rom based marketing training tool-kit,  a nationwide lecture tour and the production of a series of marketing and business reports. He has three times been commissioned to conduct a national investigation into hospital waiting lists for those seeking an NHS hearing aid, leading to significant press, TV and radio exposure.

He has delivered media awareness and interview training, written and produced newsletters, press releases and advertising copy.  Clients include the BBC, the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, which represents the private hearing aid sector in the UK, Edgehill University, in Lancashire;  the national charity, Hearing Concern and the Shropshire Union Fly-boat Restoration Society.
